Thermal Energy Storage Workshop: Insights and Innovations in Trondheim
We have just concluded two highly productive days at a workshop on thermal energy storage (TES) in Trondheim, where a wide range of innovative topics were explored. We are pleased that the ENOUGH project team contributed with three impactful presentations:
- Xinfang from the University of Bergen (UoB) presented an exciting business model for TES as a service, examining its potential for commercialization and broader market impact.
- Francesco from the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) discussed innovative ways to integrate TES into transport vehicles and provided an update on the project’s demonstration case, highlighting real-world applications.
- Lukas from SINTEF Ocean shared a theoretical analysis of integrating a Combined TES (CTES) system with a CO₂ refrigeration system, offering insights into potential energy efficiency improvements in these applications.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success!
