The ENOUGH project has set objectives to address and reduce the emissions of the food sector as food systems are globally responsible for 20 to almost 40 % of total greenhouse gas emissions.

The project will provide tools and methods to contribute to the EU Farm to Fork strategy to achieve climate neutral food businesses.

Goals

  • Identify how to achieve climate neutrality for food businesses.
  • Improve integrated sustainability and meet societal goals.
  • Increase awareness among policy makers, businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, institutions, stakeholders and citizens of selected innovative systemic solutions and their potential for uptake at EU scale.

The project will also aim to demonstrate promising technological solutions applied within the main sectors of the food chain from harvest to consumption (processing, transport, retail and domestic) for different products categories including meat, fish fruit/vegetables and diary. The consortium is composed of 28 partners from 12 European countries, with expertise across the whole food chain.

An introductory video about ENOUGH will be coming soon !
