Last week the 8th IIR Conference on Sustainability and the Cold Chain was held in Tokyo, Japan. The ENOUGH project gained high recognition as many papers from the project were presented during the conference.
Professor Judith A. Evans delivered one of the key lectures, which was partly based on results from the ENOUGH project. She described five technological roadmaps developed within the project aimed at reducing emissions. Additionally, one of the students from LSBU, Elias Eid, won the best student paper award for his work on energy modelling in emissions from food catering.
During the three-day conference 150 participants were gathered at the Waseda University International Conference Center. The ENOUGH project contributed to around 10 of the total 91 publications presented. ENOUGH partners represented included SINTEF Ocean, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), London South Bank University (LSBU), University of Birmingham, International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), and Institute National De Recherche Pour L’agriculture, L’limentation et L’environnement (INRAE).
