The Refrigera 2023 trade fair was held from 7 to 9 November, gathering the entire production chain of industrial commercial and logistics refrigeration in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean area. The trade show was an opportunity to meet the most important suppliers of technology, machinery, components and services for professionals.
Our project partner Epta described the fair as an ideal opportunity for key players in the cold chain to stay informed and discover the most innovative solutions presented during the conference, the workshops and the top-level training events. That is why they took the opportunity to host an ENOUGH meeting dedicated to Italian stakeholders at the fair. The event was arranged in cooperation with project partner CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche).
During this successful event, the Italian project partners talked about the new F-gas regulation, the challenges of decarbonation in the retail sector and the emissions from the Italian food chain. Three of the ENOUGH demonstrators were presented:
- Blast freezer with CO2
- Demand-side response in retail
- Pressure exchanger XTE (extra transcritical efficiency) technology for supermarkets
